They won the Innovation Challenge and are now entrepreneurs: Leutnant Florian Roth and Oberleutnant Marc Wietfeld. Their idea for the BwBundeswehr IdentitY app is designed to help soldiers internalize the principles of Innere Führung. The two focus primarily on games, fun and competition. With their idea, Leutnant zur See Florian Roth and Oberleutnant Marc Wietfeld impressed the jury of the Smart Solutions Challenge of the Cyber Innovation Hub of the Bundeswehr (CIHBw). Eleven teams were in the running, with Roth and Wietfeld receiving the highest score of 20 points from the experts. An unforgettable moment for the duo, who are now implementing the idea with the help of the CIHBw. As defense intrapreneurs, Roth and Wietfeld are involved every step of the way. As entrepreneurs in the Bundeswehr, i.e. as intrapreneurs, they hold the reins.

"It's great that we can now get something up and running that has great added value for the Bundeswehr," says 23-year-old Roth.
