Innovation partnership agreement with BRAVE1 | Cyber Innovation Hub

The war in Ukraine is a battle for technological superiority. Nataliia Kushnerska, BRAVE1 Project Lead, made this clear to us once again at our meeting at the CIHBw. No armed force in the world acts so pragmatically and creatively when it comes to effective technological solutions for defense. One thing is at the forefront of all these solutions: software. The cooperation with Ukraine therefore enables us to transfer additional know-how in the field of software-defined defense. Because one thing is clear: what is proving its worth on the battlefield in Ukraine today will also work for us in a defense situation.

With our innovation projects, such as the “Crowd Information Platform” or “Augmented Common Operational Picture”, we are already translating specific lessons learned from the war in a targeted manner for the Bundeswehr. With our “faLKE” innovation project, we have also already provided Ukraine with 2,000 LED light carpets to treat the wounded on the front line. This is a significant moment for the entire CIHBw crew. With the cooperation agreement with BRAVE1, we at CIHBw are playing an active part in supporting the Ukrainians.
