Volker Voss knows a thing or two about seafaring - and software. So it's no wonder that the naval officer has been working for over ten years on a digital solution to replace nautical charts, compasses and pencils on the bridge of a tender. He approached the Bundeswehr's Cyber Innovation Hub with his idea. Here, the Bundeswehr intrapreneur was given the space and opportunities to turn his vision into reality. The result is now being tested under the name "Tesla Tender". The project merges a wide variety of sensor data, creates a digital situation picture and thus makes crayons superfluous.
